Going out in this trying time of pandemic is risky. Covid-19 had a profound effect on people’s lives. With the spread of this virus, many are at risk and are most probably vulnerable.

Coronavirus is a virus that encapsulates genetic material in a lipid shell with a protein spike. It can lead to various respiratory conditions, including severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus or SARS-CoV2. This virus was first saw in the Wuhan (China). The symptoms include fever, fatigue, chest pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of taste or scent, shortness, and breathlessness.

When you plan on traveling, you need to consider and follow the requirements. Some areas require a fit to fly Covid test to travelers.

You must be updated enough to avoid any conflicts with all the restrictions. Aside from this, you also have the responsibility to know if you are at a higher risk.

Older people are known to have a weaker immune system. They are likely to be hospitalized with a greater fatality rate.

Individuals who suffer from respiratory problems are also at a higher risk. Variants can infect the upper and lower lungs. This causes swelling and inflammation of the respiratory tract. First, you may experience a dry cough or sore throat. However, it should not be ignored. It can cause severe damage to your lungs’ walls and linings, which could be fatal.

Variant mutations continue to increase the risk of developing the disease. Omicron is a newer variant that can be transmitted easily and has been shown to reduce immunization effectiveness. To avoid breakthrough infections, a booster vaccine is essential for people at greater risk of COVID-19.

To protect you from Covid-19, you may consider a rapid antigen test if you are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to positive people in the said virus.
